The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis are Island Nations in the Eastern Caribbean about 1/3 of the way between Puerto Rico and Trinidad. Formerly an associated state of the UK St. Kitts, Nevis and Anguilla. Anguilla rebelled and secede in 1971 with St Kitt's and Nevis gaining independence in 1983. In 1998, Nevis fell short of a 2/3 referendum vote to separate from St. Kitts but still continues in its efforts to separate. Nevis is a popular offshore financial center for IBC formation, and for Nevis Offshore LLC's. Nevis offshore LLC's combined limited liability, ease of formation and maintenance along with complete corporate tax exemption make Nevis rise above other similar Caribbean offshore financial and tax havens.
